Why do we have to homogenize a sample before anaylsis?
- In order to be analysed, a sample must be homogenized then plated in order to count the bacterial colonies that are present in it. Blending with sterile bags and a paddle blender is the most efficient and practical solution because it allows to blend a sample in a rapid and safe way, without contamination by the environment. The blending is therefore essential to the microbiological analysis

Can I adjust the blending time?
- Yes. Blending time is adjustable on all models of the range. 30 to 90 seconds are usually sufficient according to the sample hardness.

Is JumboMix® 3500 VP suitable for all samples?
- Yes. The JumboMix® 3500 lab blender is designed for diluted sample between 200 and 3500 ml. On the VW and CC models, the blending chamber’s volume is adjustable by adjusting the gap between the door and the paddles according to your sample size and consistency to have an optimal blending power.

Which bags can I use?
- For an optimal analysis, prefer a bag from INTERSCIENCE’s BagFilter® range because of their integrated filter which allows quick and safe filtration of your sample. However, the Interscience blenders are compatible with all the bags available on the market.

Is cleaning easy?
- Cleaning is ultra-simple thanks to the 270° opening of the door on all models.

Does BagMixer® require a lot of maintenance?
- No, it’s a device that requires only little maintenance. It is stainless steel, very robust. The shock absorbers and the window-door are lifetime guaranteed.
