Why must you use a filter-bag?
Essential step for microbiological analysis, the blending of the sample with a diluent determines the quality of analysis. Food samples are usually full of fibre and small pieces, that it is necessary to filter to ensure an effective analysis. For the analysis to be valid, it is necessary that the filtrate taken from the sample is free of debris and has not been contaminated. With BagFilter® and BagPage® blender bags' integrated filter, filtration is automatic: the filtrate collected behind the filter is free of debris and fibres, without any bacterial retention and without any cross-contamination. Choosing a filter-bag is an economical choice: it saves time and significantly improves security procedures as well as working comfort.

A perfect microbiological analysis
The sample is put into a filter bag, then the bag is placed in a BagMixer® paddle blender. The sample is crushed and homogenized by the alternate movement of the paddles. Thanks to the integrated filter of the bag, filtration is automatic.
